Care For The Queers

The need for safe spaces where LGBTQIA persons can meet and engage can neverbe overemphasized. Upon realization that we had left over funds from the SafeAbortion project, we sought permission to expense those funds by hosting a PrideFair on the 3rd of June. While the planning and implementation processes weredemanding and challenging in terms of time ,effort and engaging stakeholders, italso proved to be one of the most exciting activities. As a growing organization, it isalso very important that we build community and do something fun in a bid toestablish and maintain relations with community members who we will be workingwith going forward and the Pride Fair served as a good opportunity for this.
