A Soft Place for Queer Zimbabweans to Land
By Feminist Voices Zimbabwe
At Feminist Voices Zimbabwe, we know safety is not just the absence of harm — it is the presence of care, rest, and love. That’s why we created the SAFE Project Meditation Series — a collection of audio-guided meditations made specifically for queer Zimbabweans.
This series is part of our broader SAFE Project (Safety, Access, Freedom, and Empowerment), and pairs with our downloadable Safety and Wellness Guides to support you through real-life moments: coming out, navigating violence, managing anxiety, feeling unseen, and surviving in a system that wasn’t built for us.
What These Meditations Offer
These aren’t just recordings — they’re moments to exhale. To come home to yourself. To be reminded that you are not just valid — you are sacred.
Each meditation is led by Nkazi Khumalo — a queer, non-binary healing justice practitioner, intuitive coach, and space-holder. Nkazi’s voice invites us into calm, presence, and inner knowing.
Whether you’re listening alone, with a friend, or as part of your daily grounding — this is your space to feel held.
Available Meditations Include:
-
Feel to Flow – Emotional release & presence
-
Inner Child Hug – Reparenting with love & safety
-
What the Heart Knows – Aligning with your inner truth
-
Grounding Through Anxiety – Regulating overwhelm
-
Coming Home to Yourself – A reset for self-love
-
…and more
Each one is paired with a journaling prompt and a corresponding guide.
